Discipline in Ministry

I may not be eloquent in my words
Not in speech nor in preaching
But I can jot coherent pieces together
I may not have the audacity to move
Hearts and souls towards a course
But through an article or a poem
I strive to push a message
Geared towards hope and inspiration

But nobody pays me for this
I mean, it is tasking and demanding
Sometimes through tire I have to do it
Though my broken self, I have to unbreak
The chains of hopelessness in others
Because other sad souls take preference
And it is not always about me

Discipline in ministry involves
Being selfless and working earnestly
Towards serving others
Even when you do not feel like it
Discipline in ministry is devotion
To the work of God
Because it for His own glory not yours
