Are You Fearing It? I Stopped Fearing It.

So let me ask, what is the biggest fear in your life? What is that thing that you really dread? Loss? Poverty? Sickness? Death? What is that fear that you always run away from or do not want to hear any of it? What is that feeling that you do not want to feel or that talk you cannot bear?

Do you know why the Bible says do not fear 365 times? It is not do that you avoid it. It is for you to face it. Jesus faced immense fear at the idea of dying at the cross that he panicked and asked His father to get that ordeal out.

The elite of God faced fear. Joshua feared, Moses feared to speak, David feared Saul and the mighty Elijah fled just after calling fire from heaven. It is okay to fear, but it is not okay to run away from it. If Jesus ran away from the fear of facing the cross you wouldn’t be here today.

This is why the Bible constantly reminds us not to be afraid. So how do you face your fear? You see at the garden of Eden, when you gave the devil dominion, you received something in return; fear. It was a spiritual transaction.

This explains why heathens are dominating while most Christians are full of fear which shouldn’t be the case. In the same scenario, you can reverse all that. How? You have to give the fear to someone who has dominion.

The Bible says that whoever gives receives. Every time you are asking God for something you have to give up something as well. If you need joy, you have to give away sadness. Because you want dominion you must give up your fear to He who holds dominion who is God.

Conceive that fear deep within you. Imagine the *worst case scenario* and multiply it by 1,000. If you fear loss, imagine losing everyone you love and know and take it to the Lord in prayer. Be very vulnerable to Him and tell Him you don’t like that fear is taking captive over you and you want it gone.

He says in Matthew 7:8 that For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Remember;

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline

2 Timothy 1:7 NLT
