Take Up My Case

Siloma

Siloma

Happy soul ultra pro max!

I stand in the judgement of many
Lawyers refuse my case as I have no penny
Am accused of slander, theft, blasphemy and hate
Despite me claiming to be a Christian
Names are stamped on me, blinding me
Making me feel unworthy of your love
Am cast into this sea of self-hate and guilt
As they choose to see the bad I do
Rather than who I strive to please

Take up my case oh Lord
And bind me to your love
Search me and find me
As am lost into the world
Take up my case oh Lord
And defend me when I take the stand
Let me not be discouraged by what they say
Rather teach me to watch and pray
