Lord, you promised my enemies
That they will be my footstool

And make known to me the paths of life
You said your light will shine before me
And you will be my strength and salvation
Whom should I fear? What holds me back?

But as you reward with a hundred fold
As you vindicate me and make me bold
As you make me so wealthy
That my cup overflows
As people send me off because am too strong
Let not my blessing get into my head
That I dethrone you and become my own God
Let me not be mean with my cup
Let me not dim my very own light
But like a Phoenix
Let me soar from the ashes
The very ones that the evil buried me with
